Refund policy

We want you to receive a complete kit that is ready to build. Please review this policy before placing your order.

All Sales Are Final

Because our cardboard kits are packaged as complete sets and may not be resellable once opened, we do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind, accidental orders, or products that have been opened, assembled, decorated, or damaged after delivery.

All sales are considered final once an order has shipped.

Order Cancellations

To request a cancellation, contact us as soon as possible at derek@thecardboardengineer.com.

We will make every reasonable effort to cancel an order before it is processed or shipped, but cancellations are not guaranteed. Orders that have already shipped cannot be canceled.

Damaged, Defective, Incorrect, or Missing Items

Please inspect your order when it arrives.

The package or product arrived damaged
You received the wrong product
A required piece is missing
A product has a manufacturing defect

Include your order number, a description of the problem, and clear photographs showing the product and packaging.

After reviewing the issue, we may provide replacement pieces, replace the product, or issue a full or partial refund. There will be no additional shipping charge for approved replacements resulting from our error or damage during shipment.

Please do not discard the product or packaging until we have reviewed your request.

Refunds

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Processing times vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

Original shipping charges are generally nonrefundable unless the order was incorrect, defective, damaged during shipment, or could not be delivered due to an error by The Cardboard Engineer.
